Following a leak yesterday, Rockstar has already dropped the highly anticipated GTA 6 trailer, which wasn’t supposed to go live until later today. In it, we get our look at the game’s protagonists and just enough of the new Vice City to see that we’ll be in for a chaotic adventure when GTA 6 launches on Xbox Series X|S in 2025.GTA 6 takes us back to the sun-kissed beaches of Vice City, but it’s not all sun tans and beach towels, as we’re given a glimpse at some of the nightlife, street scenes, wildlife, and citizens of the fine city in the first trailer. Plus, it looks like we’ll be playing as a Bonnie and Clyde-esque duo in the next Grand Theft Auto installment — or the honey bunny couple from Pulp Fiction, as Ian so rightly suggested.Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.We don’t have a release date for GTA 6 just yet, but Rockstar has the game down for a 2025 release on Xbox Series X|S and PS5, so we still have a bit of time to kill before we can get involved… or see the Grand Theft Auto VI achievements.“Grand Theft Auto VI continues our efforts to push the limits of what’s possible in highly immersive, story-driven open-world experiences,” Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to be able to share this new vision with players everywhere.”With GTA Online being so popular, and GTA 6 looking like it will feature a pair of protagonists, it would be interesting to see if Rockstar gives us our first co-op story. It’s unlikely, sure, but it would be so much fun!
