Grow a Garden Events
The events in Grow a Garden can also be referred to as weather events, at least for now. With the game being brand-new, there’s no saying whether or not actual events will be added to the game. But, for now, we can discuss the current server events!
Rain
When it rains in Grow a Garden, all of your current crops obtain the Wet mutation. Any mutation causes your crops to sell for more, so this is a welcome bonus! Make sure to harvest and sell as many crops as possible whilst the Rain weather event is active.
This is why you should focus on planting crops that regenerate over time, especially when they already have a high base value. However, crops that grow quickly like carrots don’t sell for much, but the speed at which you can harvest and sell them can be useful for some extra cash. They are limited in stock though, so keep that in mind!
Can You Start an Event?
At the moment, there is no way to start an event yourself. There are no items or Gear types that allow you to activate an in-game weather event, but that isn’t to say there never will be! Not to bring it back to Fisch, but if you play that game, you’ll be familiar with the Totem items that you can use to start a plethora of events that increase your chances of catching mutations, etc.
If Grow a Garden eventually adds this feature, this section will be more flushed out with information! As for right now, you simply have to wait for a weather event to occur naturally.
