The Grounded team is celebrating having reached over ten million players with a message from game director Adam Brennecke and a Grounded dynamic background for Xbox players. Obsidian is celebrating that Grounded has reached over ten million players, and Brennecke adds, “The team is so overwhelmed with the amount of support and how much the community has grown over the last year and a half… thank you so much for joining us in the Backyard.”Grounded is still working towards its 1.0 release later this year, and the team adds that the game “is only getting bigger and better” — Grounded’s latest update is Into the Wood, which adds new areas, bugs, and new achievements.As well as having a Steam free weekend over the next few days, the devs are also celebrating the news by releasing a themed dynamic background for Xbox players “so they can have a beautiful shot of the Backyard with them on their dashboard any time they boot up their console.” Have you been playing Grounded?
