In honor of the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III later this month, Rockstar Games announced that this title, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be re-released as Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
This collection will feature across-the-board upgrades, which include graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements while still maintaining the look of the original titles.
The game will come out later this year for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, NIntendo Switch, and the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC. It will also launch on iOS and Android devices in the first half of 2022. Note that existing versions of the classic titles will be removed from digital retailers next week.
Rockstar Games will also keep the celebrations going in Grand Theft Auto Online throughout this fall, including commemorative clothing and liveries.
