Discover the ways Polyphony Digital and PlayStation Studios’ Gran Turismo 7 is powered by the PS5 with the latest developer diary for the racing simulator.
With the power of the PlayStation 5, the development team has finally been able to achieve the sense of realism they’ve been striving for throughout the series. Both haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are used to recreate the feel of the brakes, with the resistance cancelling after they lock up.
In addition to this, the scapes of Gran Turismo 7 will also take advantage of ray tracing. This, in turn, means that the cars of the game will now look better than ever. The title will also support 4K resolutions, 60 frames per second gameplay, and HDR that help make things more realistic.
