Last Monday, reports of a potential Gran Turismo 7 delay emerged after Polyphony Digital cancelled a closed media event at the last minute. Word got out via known insider Tom Henderson, who expressed concerns about the unforeseen cancellation considering the game’s out early March, leading to speculations that Gran Turismo 7 might suffer from yet another delay. However, those speculations have now been quashed as the media event has been rescheduled for next Thursday, February 3rd.When will Gran Turismo 7 release?Gran Turismo 7 is on track to release on March 4th. One of Henderson’s original tweet was a little too speculative by his own admission, and he ended up deleting it. All that changed was the date of the media event and that’s about it. And the reason given for the rescheduling is director Kazunori Yamauchi’s desire to be present to answer questions. Can’t blame him, though. Covid has pushed numerous games over the last two years and continues to batter release schedules.
