Perhaps the most important release of this year has been given a release date, immediately making that month the most stacked with releases all on its own. Goat Simulator 3 will be coming to PS5 and PS4 on November 17, 2022.Okay, there is more than a hint of sarcasm in that first sentence as there are already other releases in November which make it a stacked month. But now there’s also Goat Simulator 3 in there, which surely counts for something. The release date announcement also came with a PlayStation Blog post in which PlayStation seemed to try and get a straight answer as to why the game is called Goat Simulator 3, considering there was never a Goat Simulator 2.Different team members had different answers to the question, with one person being unaware that Goat Simulator 2 hadn’t been made, and another crediting the name to the three goats on the box art. However Santiago Ferrero, creative director on Goat Simulator 3 submitted what seems to make the most sense as to what the real reason behind the name is. “God Of War Ragnarok was already taken.”Source – [PlayStation Blog]
