Including a must-play triple-A game, a sensational retro-inspired Metroidvania, and a stellar CRPG, I might have just found one of the best Humble Bundle deals in a long while. Delivering up to seven brilliant games, each dipping into different styles and genres, it’s headlined by Remedy’s reality-bending action game Control – and it could be yours for just $12.
Humble Bundles almost always represent unbelievable value, and this one is no different. Themed around iconic and badass female protagonists, the Humble Heroines 2025 collection is a steal. As mentioned, Control (the Ultimate Edition, no less) is the most recognizable name here, and if you’re interested in the upcoming co-op shooter FBC Firebreak that’s set in the same universe, this is a good chance to get ahead if you’ve never played it. Alongside Control, there are some true hidden gems in this bundle. Two games with eye-watering Steam user scores that I definitely want to showcase are Pseudoregalia and Kill The Crows, which currently boast ratings of 97% and 94%, respectively.
Pseudoregalia is a Metroidvania with great platforming and dynamic, fluid combat, but it’s all tinged with some late ‘90s and early 2000s nostalgia thanks to its retro visuals. Note that this isn’t a side-scrolling 2D affair, and is instead a third-person 3D experience, which further plays into its ‘I swore I played this on an original PlayStation?’ aesthetic.
Kill The Crows, meanwhile, takes Red Dead Redemption and turns it into a fast-paced, top-down arcade shooter. Even if you’re not particularly a fan of either genre, these are two of the best games in their classes, and their modest run times of just a few hours could make them perfect entry points.
Also in the Humble Heroines bundle is Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, a slept-on CRPG with a lineup of 25 classes, thousands of spells to cast, and a world and narrative derived from the Pathfinder role-playing game, which is like a more intense Dungeons and Dragons. While maybe not as genre-defining, there are definitely some parallels between it and Baldur’s Gate 3. It also lets you choose between real-time or turn-based combat on the fly, so you can tailor it to fit your mood, preference, or even the specific encounter you’re facing.
The other three games included in the bundle are Quantic Dream’s cinematic narrative adventure Beyond: Two Souls, the hack-and-slash RPG Darkstriders 3, and stealthy heist game Thief of Thieves.
For this amazing Humble Heroines bundle of seven great games, the lowest price you’ll have to pay is just $12 / £9.27. Note that this will get you Steam codes for all the games featured. This deal ends on Wednesday, April 9 at 5pm PST / 8pm EST and Thursday, April 10 at 1am BST / 2am CEST.
That’s a pretty good deal, considering you’re getting some amazing action games and RPGs alongside some more unusual but no-less enjoyable gems as well.
