The team at HoYoverse announced that Genshin Impact Version 5.5, “Day of the Flame’s Return,” is set to launch March 26.
Scope out the major highlights coming to Genshin Impact Version 5.5 below:
- New Map – The Great Volcano of Tollan stands tall, complete with a sacred city and a multi-layered map within the volcano’s depths.
- New Tribe & Saurian – The Collective of Plenty is the final tribe, and it arrives with a new Saurian, the Tatankasaurus, which can charge and smash through gargantuan rocks.
- New Characters –
- Varesa, who is a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, excels in Plunging Attacks
- Iansan, who is a 4-star Electro Polearm user, provides attack buffs and healing.
- Note that both Varesa and Iansan can dash and perform flying leaps during exploration.
- Events Wishes:
- Phase I: Varesa, Iansan, Xianyun
- Phase II: Xilonen, Venti
- Seasonal Event – The “Tournament of Glory in Bloom,” featuring Ifa and the rest of the playable Natlan cast, will see the revival of a traditional Natlan competition.
- Various bonuses will also be available, including the chance to invite Ororon for free.
- New Optimizations – Improvements will be added to the title’s boss tracking system, along with the title’s artifact leveling experience.
