Aug 8, 2022

Dendro, the seventh element and vision, is finally coming to Genshin Impact. Collei is the first 4-star character with the element, and just like Tighnari she’s a bow user. This Collei Best Build Guide explains how to get Collei’s Ascension Materials and what her best weapons are.
As with new characters, you’ll need the correct ascension materials, Talent books and Artifacts to get the best use out of Collei. Unfortunately, since Sumeru is a brand new island coming to Genshin Impact, almost all of Collei’s materials will come from the new island. But fear not because there are still ways you can prepare for this arrival with Artifacts and Weapons available right now.

Collei’s Ascension Materials Level 1-90
Collei’s Ascension Materials come from the new island of Semeru, which you can’t farm until the 3.0 update is released. The Arrowheads required for her ascension can be farmed by defeating any Hillichurl Snipers located all over Tevet.

Nagadus Emerald Sliver x 1
Nagadus Emerald Fragment x 9
Nagadus Emerald Chunk x 9
Nagadus Emerald Gemstone x 6
Majestic Hooked Beak x 46
Rukkhashava Mushrooms x 168
Firm Arrowhead x 18
Sharp Arrowhead x 30

Collei is looking to be a great support unit for your party. Her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. are both AOE (Area of Effect) based and help to create reactions with other characters. Though you can build any character however you want. We recommend a support role for Collei.

Collei Best Weapon
The Hunters Path is the new bow in update 3.0, it’s not only a great weapon for Tighnari but a great weapon for Collei. Those who can’t get the Hunters Path can opt-out for another 5-Star weapon, the Elegy for the End. If you aren’t able to acquire any of the 5-Star Bows, The best 4-Star options include The Stringless and the Viridescent Hunt
Collei 5-Star Weapons
Hunters Path

Gain 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus. Obtain the Tireless Hunt effect after hitting an opponent with a Charged Attack. This effect increases Charged Attack DMG by 160% of Elemental Mastery. This effect will be removed after 12 Charged Attacks or 10s. Only 1 instance of Tireless Hunt can be gained every 12s.

Elegy for the End
A part of the “Millennial Movement” that wanders amidst the winds. Increases Elemental Mastery by 60. When the Elemental Skills or Elemental Bursts of the character wielding this weapon hit opponents, that character gains a Sigil of Remembrance. This effect can be triggered once every 0.2s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field. When you possess 4 Sigils of Remembrance, all of them will be consumed, and all nearby party members will obtain the “Millennial Movement: Farewell Song” effect for 12s. “Millennial Movement: Farewell Song” increases Elemental Mastery by 100 and increases ATK by 20%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Remembrance for 20s. Of the many effects of the “Millennial Movement,” buffs of the same type will not stack.

Collei 4-Star Weapons
The Stringless
Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 24%
Viridescent Hunt
Upon hit, Normal and Charged Attacks have a 50% chance to generate a Cyclone, which will continuously attract surrounding opponents, dealing 80% of ATK as DMG to these opponents every 0.5s for 4s. This effect can only occur once every 10s.
Collei Best Artifact Stat Priority
Regarding Artifacts, there are three sets we recommend for Collei. The best set is the brand new 4-Piece Gilded Dreams, the 4-Piece Wonderer’s Troupe, and the 4-Piece Memories of the Deep Forest. You can also try a 2-Piece Gilded Dreams and a 2-Piece Memories of the Deep Forest You can start farming the Wonderers Troup set right now, but the Memories of the Deep Forest and the Gilded Dreams set come from a new Artifact Domain on the island of Sumeru with update 3.0

For secondary stats, you always want to prioritize in order Crit Rate/Damage, Elemental Mastery and ATK%:

Flower (Always HP)
Feather: (Always ATK)
Time Piece: Elemental Master or ATK%
Goblet: Dendro Damage% or Elemental Master
Circuit: Crit Rate/Damage, Elemental Master, ATK%

Collei Talent Ascension Materials 1-10
Collei’s Talent books domain will release with the Sumeru update. Currently, there is no way to farm her talent books, but you can farm the other required materials. The Arrowheads can be farmed by defeating Hillichurl Snipers. Any Hillichurl that uses crossbows will drop these Arrowheads.

New Sumeru Talent Book
Firm Arrowheads x 18
Sharp Arrowheads x 66
Weathered Arrowheads x 93
Tears of Calamitous God (Clam with Tear Drops) From the Trounce Domain End of the Oneiric Euthymia (Raiden Shogun Boss Fight) x 18

We hope this guide helps you prepare for Cellei’s release with the Genshin Impact 3.0 Update. If you find other builds For Collei, please let us know in the comments below.
