After a couple of days of amazing games, it was time to see which team has what it takes to qualify for the Gantt finals. First, they had to win the GAMERS GALAXY Upper Bracket Final.

Despite the team’s poor performance during the DPC in EEU, Ivan Borislavov “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov in the rest had no problems dealing with their opponents so far. The gym dominated most of their enemies and secured themselves a spot for the Upper Bracket final.

Even though many people think that Nigma is the favorite, they had the easy task of facing Team Tundra. The latter shocked everyone after having little to no problems against their opponents. The team even defeated BOOM Esports, which was one of the favorites in the event. With that being said, Adrian “Fata” Trinks and the rest already played against their opponents a couple of days ago. Even though some people expected them to win, Nigma was able to dominate and secured an easy victory. This allowed them to play against OG, whereas their opponents had to go up against Boom.

As we expected, this series was exciting because both teams wanted to win so that they could get a spot for the Grand Final. Despite the fact that Nigma was the favorite, Tundra Esports thunder managed to overcome their opponents and secure themselves the chance to play in the final. Let’s take a look at some of the things that happened during the day.

Game one

Interestingly, Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi and his team picked some of the heroes that we strong in the previous meta. They even had the chance to get Enchantress, a hero that is often banned right away. Team Tundra also focused on famous heroes like Kunkka, Gyrocopter, and LC.

The laning stage was enjoyable because it was dynamic. Both teams tried to rotate all over the map to get an advantage, but it seemed like TT was in the driving seat. The team helped their Legion Command secure a lot of duel damage, which allowed the hero to snowball.

Even though Nigma was down only 2k net worth, a couple of terrible fights was the end for them. Team Tundra secured several really important kills, which gave TT’s Kunkka and LC a considerable advantage. As if that was not enough, Team Tundra accumulated more than 31k net worth advantage 30-minutes after the start of the game. Needless to say, this was more than enough for Fata and the rest to win and focus on the second game of this amazing series.

Game two

Team Tundra expected their counterparts to pick Invoker for Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi, which is why the team decided to get it instead. Besides Invoker, we also had the chance to watch the infamous Luna and Shadow Demon combo.

Following Nigma’s dominance yesterday, the team decided to get similar heroes, including OD, Tiny, and Clock. These heroes helped them a lot because Nigma had a slight advantage after the end of the laning stage. Sadly, they were unable to deal with Oliver “skiter” Lepko’s Luna because the hero was just miles ahead.

Nigma’s Kunkka was the only hero that had the chance to go up against the mighty right-clicker, but the hero did not have enough firepower. In the end, Luna got the Aegis, won a vital team fight, and managed to kill all of Nigma’s heroes. This was the last nail in the coffin for TI 7 winners because Team Tundra won.

After losing this game, Kuroky and co. will have to compete in the Lower Bracket. They’ll need to play against the winner of BOOM and Team Spirit. As for Team Tundra, Fata and the rest secured themselves a spot for the Grand Finals.
