This is the last week of 2023, and despite the holidays, the world of mobile devices still delivered a few exciting stories. The main one was that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S24 and S24+ at a slightly cheaper price than it did with the S23, at least in Europe.

Xiaomi already released its flagships with a HyperOS interface, and now we got to see the logo that many smartphone fans will see soon on their mobile phones, wearables, and even cars in the near future.

A leaked specs sheet suggests the US and Canada are getting the Qualcomm chipset.

This comes ahead of its international rollout.

OnePlus scheduled an event for the first days of 2024. We will see the arrival of the Ace 3 smartphone and the Buds 3 TWS earphones on January 4, but the launch is in China. The phone will likely arrive internationally later in January under the name OnePlus 12R.

It will be rebranded as OnePlus 12R for the global markets.

The update is currently seeding in some European countries.

While most of the Western Hemishpere celebrated Christmas, Huawei decided to introduce the nova 12 phones in China. They are basically the same as the nova 11 series but bring a Kirin 9000S chipset, although the company officially does not comment on the SoC.

They also have a 60MP ultrawide camera on the front.

They are already up for pre-orders.

Otherwise it might be identical to the recently unveiled A15.

The lineup includes the X100 and X100 Pro.

It’s said to be a rebranded X50 GT.

Another launch came from iQOO, which is part of vivo. The Neo9 and Neo9 Pro arrived with a fancy design and a Q1 display chip that improves refresh rate and touch sampling rate, at least in theory.

We have to wait and see whether the phone will make it outside China to determine how much of such claims are marketing talk.

Both smartphones come with the Q1 chip.
