G2 Esports have rebuilt their Valorant roster with star players after not securing a spot for themselves at VCT.
G2 Esports is one of the most decorated esports organizations in the world. When it comes to the performance, they never shy away from making significant changes to meet the fans’ expectations.
The G2 Valorant roster was doing reasonably decently and has established themselves as the top contenders of the European region. However, they couldn’t qualify for VCT Iceland, which indicated that big future changes were coming to the team.
It’s been fun.

Earlier today, G2 Esports revealed that they would be parting ways with all the existing players, excluding Jacob “Pyth” Mourujärvi and Oscar “Mixwell” Cañellas. The future for the rest of the players is still in the dark. However, G2 quickly announced their new signings on Twitter as they brought in Ĺ˝ygimantas “nukkye” Chmieliauskas, Auni “AvovA” Chahade and Jose Luis “koldamenta” Aranguren Herrero to complete their Valorant roster.

Team Heretics has been one of the best underdog teams in Europe, with AvovA and nukkye two of the most promising names in Valorant. Therefore, it makes sense that G2 Esports wants to make the team for the future. Koldamenta was playing in Acend before joining the squad.
It remains to be seen if the squad could live up to the hype, but fans can have a first look at the new G2 Esports Valorant line-up at LVP Rising Series #2 Open Qualifiers on June 5.
