Frostpunk is one of the best Xbox simulation games, and it’s time to start getting excited about unlocking some brutal (we assume they’ll be brutal, anyway) Frostpunk 2 achievements, as developer 11 Bit Studios has now confirmed a July Frostpunk 2 release date and that the sequel will join PC Game Pass on day oneFrostpunk 2 joins PC Game Pass on July 25 and Xbox Game Pass “at a later date”Frostpunk 2 hits PC and PC Game Pass on July 25 and will also come to Xbox consoles and Xbox Game Pass at “a later date.” According to 11 Bit Studios, Frostpunk 2 “builds upon the foundations” of the first game, where it will “thrust players into a world of unyielding realities and complex social dilemmas within an ever-expanding city.”With Frostpunk 2, the developer says you can expect a game much broader in scope than Frostpunk and “expansion in every aspect of the gameplay mechanics.” This includes building districts that each have their own purpose and the ability to side with new factions who are operating within your city walls and thirsting for power. 11 Bit Studios has also announced a Deluxe Edition of Frostpunk 2, which includes the base game, seven-day beta access to part of the Sandbox mode in April, three post-release DLC packs, early access to Story mode 72 hours before release, the ‘Warm Flesh’ digital novella, and an artbook and soundtrack.
