Players racing after the Forza Motorsport achievements can look forward to some fresh content next week to celebrate the Xbox exclusive’s first anniversary. Turn 10 Studios is dropping Forza Motorsport Update 13 on October 14, adding a Drift Mode, a fresh track, and a selection of free Mustangs.Forza Motorsport Update 13 arrives on Xbox next weekWhile we’ll wait for the full Update 13 patch notes, Turn 10 says in a new blog that Drift Mode will be added next alongside the returning Sunset Peninsula track, which hasn’t featured in a Forza game since Forza Motorsport 4. On top of this, you can expect new options for Practice and Qualifying in Private Multiplayer races and upgrades to Forza Race Regulation.The update arrives during Mustang Month, so as a “special gift” to celebrate Forza Motorsport’s anniversary, all players can claim the 2024 Ford #25 Mustang RTR, 2024 Ford #88 Mustang RTR, and 2024 Ford #130 Mustang RTR from the Showroom. As a bonus, players who own the Car Pass will also get the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. Alongside announcing the upcoming content, Turn 10 has also shared some player stats to celebrate the occasion, revealing that over 162 million races have been played, totaling more than 1.7 billion miles driven in races. Kyalami’s Grand Prix Circuit has been the most-played track, while the 2020 Honda #73 LA Honda World Racing Civic is the most popular car.
