Fortnite Wild Weeks returns with more mobility options than anyone can handle and shelve suppressed weapons.
After going silent last week, Fortnite’s second Wild Week of Chapter 2 – Season 7 is back, and it’s all about taking the high ground and reaching for the sky. Epic Games has swapped out silenced weapons in casual playlists to make way for increased Launch Pads and other practical mobility items. That means rotations and gaining a height advantage over your opponents will be much easier than in recent weeks.
Epic Unvaults Rifts & Bouncers, Increases Launch Pad Spawns
For the first time in a long time, Fortnite players can experience Rift-To-Gos and Bouncers in Battle Royale mode. It’s been quite some time since these two legendary items last were in the regular loot pool. Epic Games utilized its #WildWeeks event to bring back some old favorites.
Today, players who queue into a non-Arena playlist will find Rifts and Bouncers regularly around the map in chests and on the ground. Additionally, Fortnite’s High Flying Week includes an increased Launch Pad spawn rate to give all players a solid chance to soar through the sky. If that wasn’t enough, vendors are selling more Rift services to ensure that you’ll never be without a mobility option for the next seven days.
The added mobility should be helpful to complete this week’s Legendary Quest, where you must deal damage after gliding. Epic Games plans to roll out another Wild Week in seven days and another Legendary Quest chain, so keep an eye out for what the developers have planned next.
