Fortnite Reload Map – All POIs and Best 5 Landing Spots

Byadmin

Jul 26, 2024

Get to know the Fortnite Reload map, a smaller island featuring quite a few spots from the past of Fortnite.

The Fortnite Reload map is a brand-new island! Kind of, it’s somewhere close to Chapter 1 but not quite in full scale. Like the game mode itself, it’s almost a remix of a more classic version of the game.

What are the good landing spots on this new map? A lot of players will simply make a direct trip to their favorite remembered spot from GO. Or, to be a bit less subtle, straight to Tilted Towers. There’s a lot more to this map though.

It’s nicely designed for a 40-person game mode, but getting drops wrong and lack of map knowledge could blow your end game. It’s got just as much subtlety as the normal Fortnite landing spots, even if it’s quite a bit smaller.

What are the best POIs on the Fortnite Reload map? This is what you need to know about the locations and where to land in Fortnite Reload.

How to Get Mythics in Fortnite Reload

The Fortnite Reload map is. a bit of a mix-up of Chapter 1. Dropping in, you’ll find a mini-map less than half the size of a normal Battle Royale island.

Since the game mode only has 40 people per round, it makes sense to keep things a bit tighter. With the reboot mechanic though, a lot of those players can stick around until the late game. Now we know Fortnite Reload is permanent, it’s worth learning the map.

This often means stacked late-game circles, and makes map knowledge even more important. While the game mode is smaller, all this action can mean rotating, and positioning is neglected. If you try to keep to the more adventurous spots, it can save you quite a bit of time in Reload.

The typical tactics of rotating to dead side of zone might not work with so many players zipping around. If you try to keep safely in zone though, you’ll have an advantage for that late stage where things get a bit more Battle Royale.

Lone Lodge

Lone Lodge is a spot on the map that’s been cleverly renamed along with its downside. No longer Lonely, the lodge has been downgraded all the way to Lone.

It’s essentially a mini version of Lonely Lodge from Chapter 1. Lots of natural cover in the trees, plenty of chest spawns but few buildings. This is a spot that can make for fun fights in Zero Builds, or a good start with matts for builds.

On the edge of one side of the map, it’s not usually a major hot spot for landing. If you want to avoid all but a couple of very early fights, then Lodge is a good spot to land at in the Fortnite Reload map.

Pleasant Park

Fortnite Reload Map Guide

Pleasant is a suburb on the Fortnite map that’s already been featured in multiple chapters. On its side of the map, it’s probably the biggest drop spot. With so many buildings though there’s enough loot for plenty of teams. You could even land some of the Mythics in Reload if you luck out.

Pleasant is a good drop if you want loot and fights. Not quite the chaos of Tilted, but not as small as dropping elsewhere. It’s a nice middle ground.

Sandy Sheets

Sheets is one of the smaller POIs, located on the far east of the map. It makes sense to loot up here before moving over to Tilted. It’s not the most exciting drop spot for anyone looking for a fun start to the game though.

Lil Loot Lake

Fortnite Reload Map Guide

Lil Loot Lake as you can tell, is a little version of Loot Lake. The lake with its central house has been part of the game for a long time, only recently leaving the rift in island on the main Battle Royale map.

Getting it back mainly in its OG form is fun here. Although, it is a little adapted like the rest of the Fortnite Reload map.

There aren’t too many teams dropping here in most games. There’s not really the chest spawns to support that many teams though. It’s a mid-tier drop spot. Can be fun, but often not worth the inconvenience.

Tilted Towers

Fortnite OG - New Fortnite Season

Tilted Towers, is clearly the center point of Fortnite Reload. Now that the mode is permanent, we’ll always have Tilted available.

It’s the most popular POI in Fortnite’s history, it’s obviously the hottest drop on the Fortnite Reload map. Here is where it’s all kicking off. Want all action all the time? Drop here.

Tilted can be frustrating for some players. You can get immediately jumped by Superhero skins. Dropping Tilted and immediately getting into fights is what a lot of players are playing Reload for though.

Retail Row

Fortnite Reload Map Guide

Retail Row has had times when it was one of the biggest Sweaty player drops, but in Reload it’s overshadowed by other classic POIs. There are loads of chests, so more than enough for a team. You’ll have a few fights, but with how spread out everything is they can be avoided early.

Lazy Laps

Lazy Laps is a mini go-kart track, perfect for the vehicle-less Fortnite Reload. At just nine chest spawns, it’s one of the most under-populated Fortnite POI. Good for a quiet start, but your loot might not be great.

Dusty Docks

Fortnite Reload Map Guide

Our final Fortnite Reload POI is Dusty Docks. The new spot is a spiritual successor to Dusty Depot. However, a cargo area on the docks is nearly a permanent fixture of Fortnite Maps. It’s going to be a smaller start looting, but it’s in a decent spot to then rotate upwards to find some fights.

Those are all of the Fortnite Reload map POIs. Tilted is the main attraction, to a disproportionate degree considering how great most of the map is. However, there’s plenty to like all over the new island.

Fortnite Reload might be smaller, but its map is strong enough to support a lot of different strategies out the Battle Bus.
