Upgraded Visuals in Patch v17.00
Epic Games has committed to improving the aesthetic appeal of Fortnite specifically over the last few months. That effort continues in Season 7 for Fortnite players who use the “Epic” and “High” graphical presets. Those who want to max their graphic options will notice clearer storm visuals and improved explosion, fire and Slurp effects. Here is the complete list of upgrades players can expect per Epic:
- Improved Storm and cloud effects
- Enhanced simulations for smoke and liquid (cooler-looking explosions, fire, and Slurp effects)
- Improved post-processing features for bloom and lens flares
- Improved shadow quality
It’s worth noting that Low, Medium and Performance Mode settings won’t change in Chapter 2 – Season 7.
