Find out what all of the hints and happenings ahead of Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7.
It’s almost time to indulge in another exciting season of Fortnite Battle Royale. Players have experienced nearly four months of the “Primal” season, where animals roamed the landscape and crafting became a centralized concept. With only five days remaining in Chapter 2 – Season 6, Epic has begun laying the foundation for another installment.
Aliens and UFOs appear to influence Chapter 2 – Season 7 significantly, and there’s ample evidence to support that statement. The marketing is underway, and ESTNN has compiled a list of what has occurred thus far in the lead-up to the new season.
Alternate Reality Game (ARG)
Yo… Just checking if any other Fortnite creators got sent a DVD player with a DVD titled “They’re coming”…?
Either Fortnite is promoting the new season or I have a stalker and I am about to be murdered. Would be great if I knew which…. pic.twitter.com/JZdTPWZCm1

Epic’s viral marketing campaign ahead of Chapter 2 – Season 7 began on May 25. Professional Fortnite caster AussieAntics first reported that he received a strange package, including a DVD titled “They’re Coming” and a portable DVD player. While there was an understandable pause, the new season’s tagline matched the wording on the DVD. The video itself did not relay much in terms of information but sported an undefinable extraterrestrial vibe. Other personalities within the Fortnite space also received the same package, making its message all the more apparent.

First teased before patch v16.50, Fortnite leakers unveiled hints referencing UFOs in the game’s code. Shortly after, the crops at Colossal Crops disappeared, mysterious quests surfaced and alien abduction became a realistic possibility. More details about alien abductions came through from Fortnite data miner HYPEX on Twitter, which explained their function. All of the anticipations led to the first-ever in-game abduction. The mechanic will occur more regularly leading up to the new season, and anything beyond that is not clear at the moment.

The first Chapter 2 – Season 7 teaser trailer appeared on Fortnite’s official TikTok account. It clocked in at only six seconds but featured the same familiar “They’re Coming” tagline we first saw in the ARG. Those who watch the video will notice an abduction force clear as day in the clip, along with the June 8 release date. Fans should expect the next trailer on launch day.
Primal Weapons Gone
Since Season 7’s Theme is fully revealed now, I think its safe to tell you that Primal Stuff/Weapons are gone in Season 7!
At least that’s what’ve been told from a trusted person, and I’m not saying anything else until the last 2-1 days of the season

One theory floating around Fortnite’s Twitter community revolves around Primal weapons exiting the game. All of Chapter 2 – Season 5 featured a new brand of Primal shotguns, pistols, assault rifles and more. Since the game moves in a futuristic direction, a source told HYPEX that Primal weapons wouldn’t survive the transition.
