Epic Games has announced the “Best Friendzy” Fortnite event where players can earn free in-game rewards. The event asks players to queue into matches with a friend after registering for the event. The Best Friendzy event rewards Fortnite players for queuing into matches and earning points with their friends. Entrants will earn points based on a predefined system highlighted in Epic’s blog post. For example, players add points to their total for every ten minutes spent in Battle Royale mode.
These go toward an overall score, which dictates the cosmetic rewards available. Participants that earn 50 points based on the scoring system below will collect all of the prizes.
Best Friendzy Point System
- Every 10 Minutes Played Together in Battle Royale = 1 Point
- Every 10 Minutes Played Together in Creative = 1 Point (maximum of 6 points per day)
- Bonus: During your selected 60-minute Daily Bonus you will receive a 3X bonus for your time spent playing Fortnite (i.e., every 10 minutes played together = 3 points).
Best Friendzy Rewards
- Outer Space Handshake Emoticon = 3 points
- Invasion Remix Track = 10 points
- Life’s a Beach Wrap= 20 points
- Aquari-Axe Pickaxe = 50 points
How to Register
Those looking to participate should head over to the Best Friendzy website. Once there, you’ll need to log in to your Epic Games account to register. You can earn bonus points by setting a time frame of when you play Fortnite the most. During that hour, you’ll enjoy 3x points going toward your total.
