All the details on Fortnite’s maintenance break ahead of 19.40’s release.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is about to end. Before the launch of Season 2, Epic Games will release the Fortnite 19.40 update.
This patch will feature a bunch of new content including another Spiderman outfit. Plus a new Wild Week theme and of course the usual raft of bug fixes.
Epic officially announced the release date of the Fortnite 19.40 update along with the details of maintenance slated for just before the patch is pushed out.
Fortnite 19.40 update release time and maintenance break
Fortnite 19.40 update will release on March 1 globally at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM GMT for all platforms.
Epic will be taking the in-game servers down for maintenance and in-game players will be kicked out about 30 minutes before the patch drops.
Currently, there’s no word from epic on the patch notes and size of the Fortnite 19.40 update. However we’ll keep you updated with more info as it becomes available.

Plus, popular tennis player Naomi Osaka is joining the Fortnite icon series on March 3.
Players will be able to grab Naomi’s Outfit; as well as her Royale Racket Pickaxe, Forbidden Ace Spray, Back Bling and other accessories by participating in the Naomi Osaka Cup beginning March 2.
