Focus Entertainment has partnered with Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest developer, Different Tales, to create a game that “promises an immersive and benevolent experience.”Different Tales is a Polish studio comprised of industry veterans and former journalists that aim to push the boundaries of video games. The team’s most recent Xbox title, Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest, which launched in February 2021, was the recipient of multiple awards, and now the team has partnered with Focus Entertainment to make a game that “promises an immersive and benevolent experience, where players will explore universal themes as well as their own sensibilities.” According to Focus Entertainment’s chief content officer, Yves Le Yaouanq, the game will be “both a slice of life tale and a simulation game,” and “offers players a unique blend of emotive storytelling, crafting and strategy.” We’ll be interested to see what the game turns out to be, especially with Different Tale’s previous experience creating interactive travel experiences with Wanderlust: Travel Stories.“From the very beginning, Focus seemed to be the perfect partner for us because of the values we share,” says Different Tales board member, Jakub Radkowski. “They paid attention to aspects of the project, such as the narrative, that are very important to us.
