This Thanksgiving, we’re thankful for the huge Anicent Isles update and the Fisch Turkey! In this guide, I will tell you how to obtain this limited catch, its preferences, shiny alt design and more!
Start playing Fisch on Roblox. After casting your line into the waters, you fished up our The Fisch Ancient Isles Guide!
Fisch Turkey Guide
Back on Moosewood, a Pilgrim NPC rests against pumpkins near the top player’s bulletin board. He wishes you a happy Fischgiving and tells you a secret: turkeys have been seen swimming around waters across Fisch. Whilst this NPC hints towards this event catch, you don’t need to speak with him to trigger their spawns.
Unlike Fischfright, the turkey is the sole catch of the Fischgiving event. View this by selecting your Bestiary and pressing ‘Limited Fish’ and Fischgiving. Since they’re a limited event fish (well… bird?) they won’t be around to catch forever and will fly away from servers at the end of Fischgiving.
Despite not being very aquatic, the turkey is only obtainable through fishing, and they’re found in any body of water. When snagged on a line, the exclamation mark above the player’s head flashes blue and they receive a -65% progress speed. Whilst the catch takes a while, the turkeys don’t wriggle too much so they’re easy enough to pull up with any decent mid or late-game rod.
The turkey isn’t a demanding catch but has a few preferences that entice them. (At least they’re still alive under the water!). Turkeys enjoy Autumn and Insect bait, with no preference for time or weather.
What’s fun about the turkey is their unique shiny alt design which dresses them in a cute top hat similar but shorter to the one seen on the Pilgrim back on Moosewood! If you don’t fish up one organically, visit the Appraiser NPC back on Moosewood and keep rerolling appraisals until she uncovers a shiny mutation!
