Fisch Trumpet Fish
The Trumpet Fish is of Unusual rarity, making it not so rare, but also not exactly overly common. Due to the rarity type, the exclamation mark remains red, so when reeling it in, you won’t know if it’s common, uncommon, rare, or unusual until you fish it out of the water.
While you need the Trumpet Fish to fill out your Sunstone Island Bestiary page, the Angler NPC also has a chance to ask you for one in his quests. There are many types of fish the Angler can ask for, but it depends on which Angler NPC you speak with. This is because the Angler in The Depths asks for much rarer fish!
How to Get a Trumpet Fish
The Trumpet Fish swims around Sunstone Island and mainly resides within the waters at one of the smaller islands nearby to the main island of Sunstone. If you have a Fish Radar, you can activate it to find the Trumpet Fish Abundance, which makes it much easier to locate.

- The Trumpet Fish prefers the seasons of Summer and Autumn
- Time of day:
- This fish likes the daytime rather than the nighttime
- Weather:
- The Trumpet Fish doesn’t care about the type and is happy to appear no matter the weather
- Bait:
- If you use Shrimp as bait, you’re more likely to catch a Trumpet Fish, though you can still catch this fish without using any bait
- Shrimp is an Uncommon bait type, which you can obtain when opening Bait Crates and Quality Bate Crates
