The elusive Fisch Truffle Worm! The rarest bait type to get, at least in my opinion. So, how do you actually obtain it?

Fisch Truffle Worm
Truffle Worm, at least for me, is the rarest Legendary bait type. I do struggle to obtain some for myself! It has a Preferred Luck stat of 300, making it the best bait type to use when searching for certain fish. With the luck boost, comes a reduction in Lure Speed of 10.
How to Get Truffle Worm Bait
As with the other types of bait in Fisch, you cannot purchase them individually. Instead, you rely on RNG when opening geodes. Due to its rarity, you can’t get Truffle Worm from the Bait Crates or Quality Bait Crates. The only times I’ve ever seen this bait type appear is when you open a Volcanic Geode or a Coral Geode, and even then it’s not a guaranteed drop.
Volcanic Geodes
To obtain a Volcanic Geode, you can purchase them from the Travelling Merchant, as long as he has them in stock on his boat. They cost 600 coins altogether, making them fairly inexpensive if you already have plenty of coins saved up.
However, you also have a chance to catch them when fishing in the Roslit Volcano, which you need a Magma Rod to do so. To boost your chances of reeling in a geode rather than a fish, equip your Magma Rod with Magnet bait!
Coral Geodes
Unlike the Volcanic Geode, you can only obtain a Coral Geode by fishing it out of the water in the Desolate Deep. Its rarity is ‘Uncommon’, so it’s not too tricky to find, although I recommend utilising your Magnet bait to increase your chances. This type of geode prefers the Spring and Winter seasons but doesn’t depend on any weather type or time of day.
Fish That Prefer Truffle Worm
This bait is used mainly to catch rarer fish, as long as they prefer it! The fish you can lure in with this bait are:
- Glacierfish (Mythical)
- Isonade (Mythical)
- Whiskerbill Bill (Mythical)
- Spectral Serpent (Mythical)
- Brine Pool in the Desolate Deep
- Voidfin Mahi (Rare)
- Nessie (Mythical, Halloween event)
- Frightful Pools (Fisch Fright 2024)
