Time to talk Tidebreaker.

About The Tidebreaker

The Tidebreaker is the top of the line in underwater travel as of the Desolate Dwellings update. This underwater propulsion unit powers through the water at great speeds, and even lets you leap gracefully out of the water. It makes accessing the new underwater areas repeatedly very quick, and it’s just all around good fun to use.

How To Get The Tidebreaker

You can buy the Tidebreaker for C$80,000 at the Merchant stall on the central island in the Desolate Pocket. If you’re not sure how to get to the Desolate Pocket, we’ll cover it briefly here. If you want more details on the area, you might want to try out Fisch Desolate Deep guide.

  • Acquire at least the Basic Diving Gear from Moosewood.
  • Sail North North West of the Statue Of Sovereignty until you find a red buoy in the ocean.
  • Dive down into the water below the buoy and into the large pit in the ocean floor below.
  • Look around the bottom of the pit until you see a sign with a skull on it warning you of how dangerous the caves are.
  • Ignore the warning and swim to the right from the sign.
  • Swim through the winding cave, watching out for sea mines, look out for glowing coral as a guide.
  • At the end of the passage, if you don’t run out of air you should surface into the underground cavern known as the Desolate Pocket.
  • Here you can swim to the middle island and pick up the Tidebreaker.
