Fisch Sundial Totem Guide
Some fish can only be caught at certain times of day. If you’re after one that only appears at a specific time, you may want to consider using the Sundial Totem to alter the day cycle.
Upon using this totem, the current time will change. If it is day when you use it, it will become night, and vice versa!
How To Obtain
You can find the Sundial Totem hidden on Sunstone Isle. Hop on a boat (which you can purchase from the Shipwright NPC after completing two quests) and make your way there. It’s northwest of Moosewood. Or, you can follow the yellow waypoint marker on your map that says ‘Sunstone Isle’.
On arrival, you’ll want to park near the tall wooden ladder. Or, if you arrive by the docks, simply swim across the water to get there. Climb to the top, then jump onto the rocks and head straight.
Once you see the plank of wood hanging in the air, keep close to the edge of the cliff on the left. There will be some rocky platforms that you can hop down to. Jump onto the level below, and you will see the entrance to a cave. Walk inside, and you’ll find an NPC and the Sundial Totem, which you can purchase for 2,000C$… the totem, not the NPC.
To use it, simply take it out of your equipment bag and select it. The time of day will change straight away.
