Perceived as a soft reset for the Roblox game that captured the casual audience in the second half of 2024, the Second Sea update is a callback to the more relaxing time of the biggest Roblox game in recent memory. Here’s what’s new, how to get to the 2nd sea, and why you’ll want to scout out its new rods.

How do I get to Second Sea in Fisch?
Unlike what was shown in the trailer, you don’t get to the 2nd Sea in Fisch by speaking to the Sea Traveler NPC at Moosewood. In fact, he isn’t even there.
Instead, to get to the new 2nd Sea area, you need to find the Sea Traveler on the West side of Terrapin Island. Assuming your level is high enough, speaking to him will transport you there.
What is the 2nd Sea level requirement in Fisch?
Regardless, walk into the arched wall behind him to enter the Chuthlu fight area. Speak to the NPC at the gate and tell him you’re strong enough. This will let you enter without hitting the 250 level requirement.
Walk to the end of the hallway and through the door (even if it’s closed) to come across the fight entrance.
Wait in the portal until a new boss battle is ready to begin.
At level 250, you’ll make it through the gate without being blown up. You can even make it through without hitting the level requirement, but this appears to be a bug that isn’t always repeatable.
If you hit the level requirement, a cutscene plays out as you walk through the gate, taking you straight to the portal room. If a team isn’t already taking on the boss, you’ll have two minutes before another fight begins.
How do I beat Cthulhu in Fisch?
To beat the Cthulhu boss fight in Fisch, just equip the Keepers Torch you should have received when unlocking the area.
Cross the floating platforms along the edges of the area and load the torch by interacting with the large lantern there. Aim the Keepers Torch at the boss and click to shoot fireballs.
You can easily dodge Cthulhu’s area attacks by spamming the jump button and even use the Glimmerfin Suit boots to speed things up.
After defeating Cthulhu the first time, a cutscene shows you and your team diving into the hole where the boss once stood, spawning you into the Second Sea after a load screen transition.
How do I travel between First and Second Sea in Fisch?
To travel between the First Sea (original Fisch) and Second Sea locations, just speak to the Sea Traveler at Terrapin Island (First Sea) or Waveborne (Second Sea).
