Heard about the Fisch Reinforced Rod? It’s hidden within the Desolate Deep, so you’ll need the prerequisite diving gear beforehand, and plenty of in-game coins.

Fisch Reinforced Rod
Like the Magma Rod, the Reinforced Rod isn’t anything special. However, you need it if you want to fish in the Brine Pool, to not only make money but to fill your Bestiary too! The Brine Pool is located within Desolate Deep and is found nearby to the Desolate Pocket after speaking with an NPC. An important thing to note is that you need a glider to visit the Brine Pool specifically!
How to Get the Reinforced Rod
Firstly, you need to find Desolate Deep.
Finding Desolate Deep
This area is located further out across the ocean, specifically underneath a red buoy that appears in the water. The easiest way to find this buoy is to sail a boat from Moosewood, and head between Sunstone Island and the Statue of Sovereignty. Once you’ve passed these 2 locations, keep sailing forward until you see the buoy spawn in the distance.
At this point, you should already have the Basic Diving Gear in your inventory, which you can purchase for 3K coins on Moosewood Island. But, there is Advanced Diving Gear placed on the red buoy, which provides you with even more oxygen than the Basic set. You cannot swim underwater unless you have diving gear equipped! To equip it, hold the item, and click anywhere on your screen.
From Desolate Deep
Once you start diving down into Desolate Deep, you need to head right to the bottom until you see a sign. Once you find the sign, you need to swim to the left. Going this way takes you through a cave that shrinks, but you can still get through easily by swimming!
Keep going until you can emerge from the water, nearby to the merchant NPC tag that spawns on your screen. Jump out of the water and onto the surface, where you can speak with the merchant who stands at his counter with a range of items. The Reinforced Rod is on this counter, which you can purchase for 20K coins.
