Fisch Lanterns Guide
Let’s illuminate you on lanterns.
What Are Lanterns?
Lanterns in Fisch are small light sources that usually fasten to your belt. They light up the area around you, which can make navigating darker areas like Vertigo much easier. You can toggle a lantern on or off.
How To Get A Lantern
Lanterns are bought from the Lantern Keeper. He’s a rather peculiar NPC that usually spawns near the Moosewood Lighthouse after dark, but we’ve found him outside during the daytime. He can spawn in different places. The Lantern Keeper will sell you a lantern for 1000C$, though what lantern you actually get is random. If you don’t like what you get, you can buy another lantern, but you need to part with another 1000C$, and there’s no guarantee you’ll get a different lantern.
The difference is only cosmetic, all of them do more or less the same thing.

Below we’ve listed the lanterns available in the game, and details on what they look like.
- Paper Lantern – A spherical lantern made of paper.
- Normal Lantern – A regular, old-timey lantern.
- Camo Lantern – Where did your lantern go?
- Small Lantern – A dinky little light source.
- Pink Lantern – A pretty light pink shade.
- Ultrabright Lantern – Black lantern with a white light.
- Magma Lantern – Burns with a fiery red light. Maybe gives off dangerous fumes.
- Orange Lantern – A subtle orange tint to the glow.
- Blue Lantern – A light for when you’re feeling blue.
- Fairy Lantern – A tiny little gold orb that follows you around. This is the rarest lantern in the game right now.
