About The GPS
The GPS is a tool that you can use to display your coordinates at the location you’re standing. You do this by holding the object, equipped from your hotbar or backpack. It should display your precise coordinates at the bottom of the screen, and change when you move.
What good is that? Well it’s helpful to tell other players exactly where you are, or where a certain object, NPC, or location is through sending them the coordinates.
It’s also essential for using Treasure Maps, as once fixed they should give you the coordinates where the treasure chest sits. All in all, very handy to have.
How To Get A GPS
If you’re concerned about a major outlay, don’t be. The GPS is very reasonable at only 100C$. It’s available in two places. We’d give you the coordinates but… well if you could use coordinates you probably wouldn’t need to buy a GPS.
- Moosewood – You can find the GPS for sale on the chair near the pond in the center of the island. It’s the chair on the left when you’re facing the water.
- Mushgrove Swamp – If you’re away from Moosewood, then there’s an alternate place to pick up a GPS in Mushgrove Swamp. Head over to the watchtower on the North side of the island, and climb up the ladder to the top. You’ll find a guard asleep up there, and you’ll find a GPS for sale on top of the railing up there.
