Fisch Glacial Sturgeon Guide
The Glacial Sturgeon resides in the Cryogenic Canal of the Northern Expedition as one of its two Mythic catches. Thanks to the small pool of fish that the game roulettes between, it’s easy to encounter and provided you have a decent mid-game onwards rod, is easy to catch.
What makes the Glacial Sturgeon so special is its high selling price. On average, each one is worth 5250 C$, but this doesn’t account for mutated variants! Using a rod that provides chance mutation encounters such as the craftable Voyager Rod which has a 25% chance to Fossilize a fish, you could exploit the Cryogenic Canal and money farm.
Of course, you can use any rod of preference. But to keep the theme, I’ll use the Voyager Rod as an example again. Each Fossilized fish sells for x2.5 times its base value. This means a single Fossilized Glacial Sturgeon can sell for a huge 13,125 C$.
The highest value Mutation, Aurora, increases value by x6.5. That’s a massive 34,125 C$ per Glacial Sturgeon!
Glacial Sturgeon Preferences
If you’re ready to farm this fish, head into the Cryogenic Canal located in a hidden cave located at 19874, 557 and 5642. Inside here, you drop down passing rocky structures lined with ladders into a small fishing area. Don’t forget to watch your oxygen allowance as the altitude drains your supply faster!
