With only a week to fish up each remnant of the past, you’ll need a nifty Fisch Fossil Locations guide. Here, I will tell you where to find each bone, their name, rarity, and the reward for your Archaeologist’s Bestiary completion.

Start fishing for bones over on Roblox! For more guides on this fishy game, check out our Fisch Wormhole Enchant guide, which covers the enchant efficiency when paired with The Rod of The Depths. Or, for something more relaxed, try our Fisch Rod Progression Guide.

Fisch Fossil Locations Guide

Dr. Finneus, located at coordinates 1172, 132, and 2454 sets the player off on a new event quest lasting a week. The goal is to complete his archaeologist bestiary before the event expires and find each fossil remnant lurking beneath the waters across a few islands. But, where are all 10 fossils exactly? Let’s get into it!

  • Moosewood Island – 3 Fossils
    • Barracuda Spine (Uncommon) – Found off-shore on the rock formation to the right of Moosewood. (Where Whisker Bill catch flags accumulate)
    • Fossil Fan (Uncommon) – Inside Moosewood Pond.
    • Claw Gill (Uncommon) – On the shoreline anywhere near Moosewood Docks.
  • Roslit Island – 3 Fossils
    • Spineblade (Unusual) – Found amongst the coral reef, near the lighthouse.
    • Shark Fang (Unusual) – On the wooden docks of Roslit opposite the Merchant NPC.
    • Spine Bone (Unusual) – Another coral reef find!
  • Mushgrove Swamp – 1 Fossil
    • Nessie’s Spine (Legendary) – Found in any of the waters within the Mushgrove Swamp. I found mine in the waters facing the Agaric NPC who rests against a mushroom.
  • Snowcap Island – 1 Fossil
    • Spined Fin (Legendary) – Found anywhere around Snowcap, but tend to be easier to encounter inside Snowcap Cave.
  • Forsaken Shores – 2 Fossils
    • Ancient Serpent Skull (Mythic) – I found two of these! The first was off the wooden docks near the NPCs, the second was inside the Forsaken Pond.
    • Ancient Serpent Spine (Mythic) – Inside the coral reef bay.

The Bestiary for this event can only be viewed when visiting Dr. Finneus. Once you’ve uncovered a few Fossils, you’ll notice they have no preferences. Bait, weather, season or time cycle won’t impact your chances of finding them. It’s all down to good old RNG luck!

On a side note, it’s worth mentioning that I’m listing the places where I encountered each fossil. Feel free to comment where you found fossils if it differs from my list to help other fishers!
