Fisch Fortune Rod
The Fortune Rod in Fisch is a hit or miss. A lot of players seem to want it, but I’m not quite sure why. While it’s a sought-after rod, some players opt to completely skip it as they wish to save their coins for later ones. It’s not a particularly expensive rod, and it’s a step up from the early-game ones, so it’s great for those in the mid-game due to the massive luck boost.
The main reason why players work towards the Fortune Rod first is because your luck stat gets a 110% boost when you use it to catch fish. This means you have a higher chance of obtaining rare and Mutated fish. The maximum KG of the rod is decent at 700kg, but your lure speed is significantly lowered by 35%.
If you’re using the Lucky Rod at the moment, and you enjoy the luck buff, then the Fortune Rod is the next one for you! 12,750 coins isn’t a steep price, and you can easily make it back by grinding out some fishing.
How to Get the Fortune Rod
The Fortune Rod is a purchasable one from the Blacksmith! To find this NPC, you must visit Roslit Bay. The Blacksmith stands at his anvil nearby to the Merchant and Shipwright NPCs, with a roaring fire next to his shelter and tools.
He has 2 rods displayed upright on a wooden panel at the front, with the Fortune Rod placed on a table at the back of his workshop. As mentioned above, this rod costs a total of 12.75K coins! Hold down the E key (if you’re on PC) to interact with the rod to purchase it.
