Fisch Flying Dutchman Guide
The Flying Dutchman is a large ship with an eerie appearance. This massive green-toned boat has shredded sails, and despite the name, doesn’t exactly fly over the seas, but it is quick! To obtain it, you’ll need to first complete the Witch’s Quest given at Moosewood, which includes a hunt for ingredients for her Cauldron pot.
Ingredients spawn randomly, notified by Event, on any Island around Fisch. It’s easier to farm these in a private server since you’ll be racing other players to get your hands on them! On the retrieval of 6 ingredients placed inside her Cauldron, you’ll unlock the Flying Dutchman and will be able to spawn it from the Boat Merchant NPC on any Island.
Attempting to buy it before then will display a ‘Not for sale’ blocker preventing you from unlocking the ship. This also makes the Flying Dutchman the first free boat in the game!
Flying Dutchman Stats
Let’s get into the boat stats and break down its performance so you can decide if you want to grind to obtain this ship, and use it full-time!
- Maximum Speed: 80 studs per second
- Steering Control: 30 Degrees
- Maximum Acceleration: 0.2 studs per second
These Stats roughly place the Flying Dutchman between the Hovercraft and the Fishing Boat in efficiency. It’s a quick boat, fourth to the Jetski, Luxury Speedboat and Standard Speedboat. But, being a vessel you obtain for free, and limited edition, it’s much more valuable in my opinion!
