Fisch Eternal Frostwhale – How To Easily Catch!

If you’ve fallen victim to the Fisch Eternal Frostwhale and lost your catch streak, you may be entitled to compensation. I’m joking, but seriously, I lost my 3k catch streak all because I underestimated this limited beast.

Cast your bobber into the waters of Fisch on Roblox. For more swimmingly good guides, check out our Fisch Dr Glimmerfin’s Boat Guide and What Is The Biggest Fish In Fisch Guide.

Fisch Eternal Frostwhale Guide

As described in its Bestiary entry, the Eternal Frostwhale is an ancient behemoth. Yet, even in its old age, this fish shows insane agility. Other than its description, this fish has no specific preferences. No bait, time, weather or season influences when the best time to catch it is.

Being part of a Limited Bestiary, it’s only found within a Golden Tide Pool. During this server-wide event, a golden radius will spawn around an island or in the Ocean (as told by the in-game announcement) where all Golden Tide fish have swarmed in numbers. This fleeting event ends on January 25th, when the new Atlantis update drops.

However, this fish is one of the hardest to catch that Fischers have ever encountered! As mentioned, I lost my catch streak to it, and I bet I’m not alone.

How To Catch The Eternal Frostwhale

Like other Event fish, when caught on the line, the exclamation mark above your head will ping a deep blue. Your indication that it’s the Eternal Frostwhale on your line and not a different Event fish is the hefty -80% progress speed… Not only that, this fish whips around insanely quick, out-speeding most rods even those with high resilience.

I recommend using the trusty King’s Rod, obtained from Keeper’s Altar for 120,000 C$. It has a nice natural Resilience of 35% so you won’t need to enchant it to enhance it.

However, if you want a cheaper alternative, consider enchanting a rod to gain Resilience through either the (drumroll) Resilience Enchant for +35%, or Mystical for +45%.

Finally, I recommend using bait that applies Resilience to all biting fish. Deep Coral for example is a Legendary rarity Bait that applies +50 Resilience to snagged fish, with a preferred luck of -10.
