Fisch Coral Geodes Guide
The Coral Geode added during the Desolate Deep update isn’t too dissimilar from the Volcanic Geodes. However, unlike their fiery kin, the Coral has an easier obtainment method. Hidden in the left cave within the Desolate Deep is a small shack of wares for sale including the 600 C$ Coral Geode.
Yes, the Volcanic Geode shares a price tag, but this all depends on whether you join a server with a Travelling Merchant active and if it’s even in his stock rotation… Since the Corals are a permanent store item, they tend to be a bit easier to stockpile.
Alternatively, you can fish them up but only from the waters of the Desolate Deep. They’re an easy catch thanks to their Uncommon rarity and tend to remain steady when snagged on a line.
Coral Geodes Rewards
Once again, this Geode has a few similarities to the Volcanic Geode including its rewards.
- Bait
- You’re able to gain tons of Bait when cracking open Coral Geodes. Amongst this is the sought-after Truffle Worms which tend to be hard to gain in bulk otherwise. The Truffle Worms are favourable to various high-rarity fish.
- Cash
- Whilst you won’t be making your money back if you bought the Geode, there’s a chance to at least enjoy them at a discount price and earn back a wad of cash.
- Trash and miscellaneous items
- If you’re unlucky enough, you might get the Stalactite or Corals from within the Geode.
- Desolate Deep Fish
- This is the most sought-after reward. Opening Geodes has the chance to give any of the Bestiary fish found in the Desolate Deep. However, if you want to try Legendary or Mythic grind with Geodes, you’re better off fishing as normal with preferable conditions as the chances are significantly dropped.
