Head down to the briny depths, quite literally, and fish in the sea below the sea. The concentrated salt of the brine pools is a hostile environment that brings with it extraordinary fish. Our Fisch Brine Pool guide explains how to get there, and how to catch the creatures below the surface.
Fisch is out now on Roblox.

About The Brine Pool
The Brine Pool is a new area added in the Desolate Dwellings update. It’s an unusual location with a green pool of water, which we don’t advise jumping in. You can find the following fish there.
- Gazerfish (Common)
- Brine Shimp (Uncommon)
- Globe Jellyfish (Unusual)
- Dweller Catfish (Rare)
- Spectral Serpent (Mythical)
What You Need Before Going To The Brine Pool
You need the following things before heading to the Brine Pool.
- Diving Gear
- Advanced makes it easier, but Basic is completely doable.
- Basic is for sale in Moosewood, Advanced on the Desolate Deep Buoy.
- A Glider
- You can buy one of these on Roslit, or in the Desolate Deep.
- A Reinforced Rod
- You can buy one of these in the left-hand cave of the Desolate Deep.
How To Reach The Brine Pool
Now let’s explain how precisely to get there.
- First you need to reach the sign at the bottom of the pit in the Desolate Deep. If you’re not sure how to do that, we cover it in more detail in our Desolate Deep guide.
- Once at the sign, take the right-hand path through the sea mines to reach Desolate Pocket.
- In the Desolate Pocket, on the central island you’ll find an NPC called Clarence, holding his lantern out toward a cave he can see. You are aiming for that cave.
- You can reach the cave using the Glider. You can buy one on the island if you didn’t bring one. We found the best way to get to the ledge with the cave was to hope up onto the slope at the other end of the bridge plank on the same bank as the cave.
- Once you get over onto the ledge, head into the cave and follow a narrow passage until you reach the Desolate Brine Pool.
- You can only fish with your Reinforced Rod here.
