In the market for a new fishing rod? The Fisch Blazebringer Rod might become your new go-to! This tool forged from relentless heat hails from the new second sea, as one of the first meta rods of this area.

Fisch Blazebringer Rod Guide

Found in Emberreach within the Second Sea, the Blazebringer Rod has sparked interest in all players who have sailed into the newer area. It costs 70,000 E$ and has similar stats to another Second Sea Rod, the Free Spirit Rod; however, it is more affordable and slightly better overall.

Its base stats don’t compare to end-game rods of the First Sea, but that’s the point… The Second Sea in Fisch is meant to honour the early days of this game, back when it was a more relaxed fishing simulator, without the committed grind of not falling behind. The Blazebringer Rod has the following stats:

  • Lure Speed: 60%
  • Luck: 90%
  • Control: 0.15
  • Resilience: 15%
  • Max Weight: 5,000 KG

Blazebringer Rod Passives

If you’re a seasoned player who gained access to the Second Sea, you’ll know these stats are quite favourable standalone. But that’s not all! The Blazebringer Rod also flaunts a unique passive, which triggers at different catch intervals.

Originally, it appears like a Flimsy Rod lined with rocks, but at 10 Perfect Catches, it reforms and takes on a new appearance, where the main pole glows like lava and the entangled rocks and vines turn into obsidian. Now, when catching fish, it has a 15% chance to apply the Ember Mutation, increasing fish selling value by x3. Even rarer, it has a 10% chance to fish up a Cracked Mutated fish, which sells for x3. The rod also gains a flat +10% Luck Boost.

Finally, at 25 or more perfect catches, the rod changes again for a final time. Its shape mimics the Rod of the Forgotten Fang, minus the shark-head tip. It also has a more intense glow to show it’s at its final evolution. During this, it has a 95% chance to encounter Ember-mutated fish (x3 value), a 5% chance to encounter Emberflame Fish (x5 value), and a +25% Luck Boost.
