Fisch Aurora Borealis Guide
The Aurora Borealis is the rarest event within Fisch, being so hard to witness that it has its own achievement namely ‘Experienced True Beauty’. However, only players who were active at the beginning of the event gain the achievement, and those who join late simply enjoy its buffs without unlocking it.
During the Aurora Borealis event, a popup appears on each player’s screen which reads ‘Tonight is the illusive Aurora Borealis! Luck is drastically multiplied.’ Whilst this seems vague, we do know that the boost includes a generous x6 Universal Luck server-wide.
Aurora Borealis Totem
Triggering an Aurora Borealis costs a lot and isn’t easy to obtain. You’ll need to first spend 3,000 C$ to obtain the Basic Diving Gear from Moosewood, or 15,000 C$ for the Advanced Gear at the Red Buoy. Both of these equipment pieces are necessary for reaching the Desolate Deep which is your first stop to obtain the Totem.
When in the Desolate Deep, you’ll then need to spend 900C$ on a Glider located on the wooden stall next to the Merchant. When equipped, this allows you to move around the large rock faces to parkour your way towards the cave entrance where the Brine Pool resides. (For a more in-depth tutorial on reaching the Brine Pools, check out the Aurora Totem guide linked above.)
Somewhere within the Brine Pools is a hole in the wall which leads to skeletal remnants and the sought after Aurora Borealis Totem for a whopping 500,000C$. In total, you’re likely to spend 503,900C$ at minimum just to trigger this event.
