About The Ancient Fragment
The Ancient Fragment is part of the four different fragments you need to open up the Ancient Archives. The other fragments are.
- Solar Fragment – Found at the top of the Ancient Isle, though you can only picked up during an Eclipse event.
- Earth Fragment – Found in the cave with the Phoenix Rod and the Eclipse Totem.
- Deep Sea Fragment – Found at the bottom of the Ancient Isle waterfall, between some rocks.
Combined with the Ancient Fragment, you can place these on the four shrines at the entrance to the Ancient Archive to open the door. You’ll need three other players to participate, and it only works during an Eclipse event.
How To Get The Ancient Fragment
You can find most Fragments in certain spots around the Ancient Isles. The Ancient Fragment is a bit different, however. It’s not fixed in one spot. Instead you can find it by fishing anywhere in the Ancient Isles. It is a fairly rare occurrence. The Ancient Fragment has no preferred weather, time, season or bait. It also doesn’t appear to be affected by Magnets or the Magnet Rod, though it’s not organic.
Try a relatively high Luck rod and just keep fishing. The Fragment does not weigh much, so you shouldn’t need to worry about anything with a high weight limit.
