Aliens: Fireteam Elite will be joining Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC on December 14th, alongside the game’s Season 2: Point Defence update.Season 2: Point Defence will add the Point Defence game mode alongside a new lifetime stats feature to Aliens: Fireteam Elite, as well as an assortment of items. Four new weapons will be added to the game (CQW, Handgun, Heavy Weapon, and Rifle), along with attachments, colourways, decals, head accessories, and more.The Point Defence game mode challenges Fireteams to survive a Xenomorph onslaught while attempting to protect and repair three strategic points. The maps hold Fabrication Machines that allow you to create temporary consumable items that will help you survive additional waves. Of course, taking on the challenge isn’t for naught, with the different difficulty levels offering up rewards like new attachments, emotes, and the new furious Dragon decal in three colours (Azure, Vermillion, and White), and an Exoskeleton Laminate colourway.On top of the free content update, Cold Iron Studios’ Aliens: Fireteam Elite will also be available to play through Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC — which includes full cross-play support.
