Jeff Grubb has weighed in on the long-rumoured Final Fantasy IX Remake during the latest Game Mess Mornings podcast, claiming the game is definitely happening. So, it looks like Square Enix is skipping the fan-favourite Final Fantasy VIII in favour of, well, another fan-favourite title to remake.When discussing the Nvidia leak from a few years ago, specifically titles from Square Enix that were mentioned, Grubb noted that only Final Fantasy IX Remake and Final Fantasy Tactics Remastered haven’t come to fruition yet.
