The winning run continues at the ESL Pro League.
FaZe Clan defeated ENCE to win the 15th season of ESL Pro League. This is their second important achievement in the 2022 calendar year of CS:GO.
FaZe Playoffs Run
FaZe won against Players 2-1 and faced Natus Vincere in the quarterfinals. They won 2-0 against NAVI to defeat them 11-16 on Inferno and 12-16 on Mirage. FaZe played brilliantly against FURIA in the semis to get a clean 2-0 result. Their first win was on Inferno where they scored 16 against 13 and later 16-19 on Mirage to qualify for the Grand Finals.
Grand Finals
The entire Pro League has been a surprise for many fans. ENCE contributed to that by being a terrific team to watch in the ESL Pro League. FaZe had to be at the top of their game to beat them. The first match on Vertigo was an 11-16 win for FaZe. On Overpass, we saw a great fight from ENCE, who won 19-17. However, the last match was on Dust II, where FaZe got their decisive 12-16 victory.
Robin “ropz” Kool won his first-ever MVP award after his outstanding performance in the ESL Pro League event. The 22-year-old had an average rating of 1.21 and was a force to watch out for in the Playoffs.
FaZe will now take part in the upcoming PGL Major Antwerp RMR event.
