Our latest Xbox Gameplay Chart sees Far Cry 6 storming straight into the top 15 just days after launching, while Back 4 Blood is already at 22nd ahead of its launch tomorrow. Here is the top 40 Xbox Gameplay Chart for the week ending October 10th, 2021.Chart compiled using gameplay data from over 2.6 million active Xbox accounts. Chart information is copyright TrueGaming Network. For details on how the chart is calculated, click here. It’s rare to see any game break into the top ten, which is usually made up of the same names each week, so it’ll be interesting to see whether Far Cry 6 manages to do so in next week’s chart, after more people have had a chance to get their hands on it. If you’re not convinced yet or just want to know more before you buy, check out Tom’s Far Cry 6 review. Below, at 22nd, there is Back 4 Blood — which hasn’t strictly even launched yet. Players who preordered got four days of early access, however, and since Back 4 Blood is already in the top 40 even before its full release, and since it will join Xbox Game Pass at launch tomorrow, it’s possible we’ll see the action-horror do even better when next week’s chart rolls around.Just below, we see Scarlet Nexus, Sea of Thieves, and Gears 5 dropping to 23rd, 24th, and 25th respectively, while NBA 2K22, Battlefield V, MLB The Show 21, and For Honor jump up to fill out the rest of the top 30. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, meanwhile, has dropped another space to 32nd this week. Most players have likely finished up with the game and its most recent expansions, but it’s possible Valhalla will be boosted by the arrival of its next seasonal event. Psychonauts 2 is suffering the fate of Xbox Game Pass games on our chart, and has fallen eight places to 35th. Hades is experiencing similar problems and has dropped a whopping 21 places to 40th, while just above we see Insurgency: Sandstorm making its first appearance in the top 40 at 39th. This week’s disappearances are The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, Subnautica: Below Zero, and Aragami 2. Looking ahead, we have launches like Disco Elysium: The Final Cut to look forward to, as well as Xbox Game Pass additions like Back 4 Blood, The Riftbreaker, and Echo Generation to look forward to. Which do you think will make it into the top 20 next? Will Far Cry 6 break into the top ten? Let us know what you think in the comments!
