The next part of the Marvel’s Avengers roadmap has arrived, adding the Omega-Level Threat: Family Reunion, multiplayer Mega Hives, and the “ability to play multiple of the same Hero permanently.” According to Square Enix, you’ll need four-player strike teams which are at least at level 145 for Family Reunion, which is “a more challenging version of the Family Reunion mission from the Taking Aim Operation.” Changes include a fight with the Super-Adaptoid “who has new tricks up its sleeve,” along with the Attrition, Overshield, Meridian, and Supercharged modifiers, and a time limit. Square Enix says it has also taken out most of the cinematics aside from the entrance of the Super-Adaptoid — which can still be skipped. Family Reunion is just the first of these Omega-Level threats, and its rewards include Omega Exotic Gear, Polychoron, upgrade modules, and more. Multiplayer Mega Hives are also now available with a new introductory mission. Priority missions have also been “revamped” to reward players with the Exotic Hero Set, and are now combined into one weekly mission with a higher Power Level. You’ll also be able to permanently play as multiples of the same hero in matchmaking and Strike Teams. “We can’t wait to see how you take on Omega-Level Threat: Family Reunion and multiplayer Mega Hives with new Hero combinations now available,” Square Enix concludes. Will you be trying out Family Reunion?
