The Tennessee Titans may have won the NFL schedule release video competition, and it caused the Atlanta Falcons to change their name on Twitter.

All 32 NFL teams officially unveiled their schedules for the 2023 season. What would normally be a dull unveiling has become a competition to see which team can produce the best announcement video. When it comes to the 2023 field, one of the best videos had to be from the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans decided to use a “man on the street” format to interview people on Broadway in Nashville to help them unveil their schedule. Specifically, they showed the logos for their opponents and asked them to name the team. It led to some hilarious results.

One of Tennessee’s opponents decided to have some fun with the video. The Atlanta Falcons, who were called the “Red Stallions, rawr” in the video, decided it was time to change their name on social media.

The Atlanta Falcons are gone. Say hello to the Red Stallions. Rawr.

Give the Falcons social media team some credit, they saw the video and decided to have some fun with it. No other team has done it, and they’re all not fun. Well, we can’t fault the Jacksonville Jaguars, who “Actually Does Not Exist.” Let’s take a look at some of the other hilarious new names given to Tennessee’s 2023 opponents.

  • Los Angeles Chargers: Lightning McQueen
  • Cleveland Browns: Just the Football Logo
  • Indianapolis Colts: Cowboys (twice)
  • Baltimore Ravens: Baltimore Orioles
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Pirates from the Islands of the Caribbean
  • Miami Dolphins: Atlanta Florida Dolphins
  • Seattle Seahawks: Eagles Eagles Eagles (from Pittsburgh)

We can’t wait to see Desmond Ridder, Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts and Drake London perform in the Red Stallions offense this upcoming season. More importantly, let’s see how the Red Stallions do against the Tennessee Titans in Week 8 (Sunday, Oct. 29 at 1:00 p.m. ET).
