Existing PlayStation Games Won’t Be Removed By Activision After Microsoft Acquisition

Activision Blizzard has revealed that it has no plans to remove existing games from other consoles including PlayStation formats following its acquisition at the hands of Microsoft.The deal will see some of the biggest gaming franchise in the industry fall under the Xbox umbrella, including Call of Duty, Overwatch, Crash Bandicoot, and World of Warcraft. The deal was announced on Monday, which cost an earth-shattering $68.7 billion and is set to be complete by June 2023.Speaking in a FAQ filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Activision revealed how this deal will impact companies including Apple, Google, and Sony.We will honor all existing commitments post close.
