Yesterday, we exclusively reported that Infinix would unveil its first smart ring and a pair of TWS earphones at the Infinix AI∞ Beta event on March 20. Alongside these, Infinix would also introduce a new Note 50 series smartphone, which, a reliable source tells us, is the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ with 5G connectivity.
Our source also provided some exclusive images of the Infinix Note 50 Pro+, which reveal the smartphone will have flat frames and a full-metal build and pack a display with a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera.
Infinix Note 50 Pro+
The Infinix Note 50 Pro+’s right-side frame will have the power button, while the volume keys will be on the opposite side. At the bottom will be the USB-C port, flanked by the SIM card slot, primary microphone, and a speaker grille. Up top is the secondary mic, joined by an IR Blaster and another speaker grille. There’s also the “Sound By JBL” logo, confirming JBL’s audio tuning.
Infinix Note 50 Pro+
The back of the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ will feature an octagonal camera module whose design is inspired by the power and precision of high-end car intakes, the light play of diamond cutting, and Harry Winston jewelry.
It’s unclear what camera sensors are used here, but you can see the camera island houses a periscope unit and has text on the right side that reads “50MP OIS 100X Periscope.”
Infinix Note 50 Pro+
We are told the One-Tap Infinix AI∞ will be a standout feature of the Infinix Note 50 Pro+, having a sub-$500 (€460/INR43,475) price tag. Our source tells us Infinix took inspiration for the Note 50 Pro+’s unibody metal construction from the manufacturing of new energy vehicles (NEVs) for lighter, durable, efficient, and eco-friendly smartphones.
The Note 50 Pro+ uses the same “ArmorAlloy” material and HyperCasting manufacturing process used for the Note 50 Pro 4G. We’ll learn more about the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ on March 20 at the Infinix AI∞ Beta event.
