Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has arrived, and you know what that means: new battle pass skins, new map locations, new weapons, and a heck of a lot more.
Before you jump into the new season, here is absolutely everything there is to know about Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, including the Transformers crossover, a new Mythic drum gun, and new ways to get around the suddenly jungle-themed island.
Chapter 4 Season 3 battle pass
Eight new skins, including a summertime-themed Meowscles and Optimus Prime are included in this season’s battle pass. Six other Epic original characters are included, too. You can see them all here, and join us after downtime ends when we’ll have a full battle pass gallery for your perusal, featuring images of all 100+ rewards to unlock this season.
New weapons
It wouldn’t be a new season without a new loot pool, right? This season unvaults several favorites and introduces some never-before-seen weapons fitting of the Wilds theme. Find all the Chapter 4 Season 3 weapons and loot right here.
Exotic and Mythic weapons
To equip something a cut above the competition, you’ll want to search for the game’s Exotic and Mythic weapons. We’ll be plotting them all on a map for convenience, and you’ll find a guide here soon enough. The star of the show is arguably the new Mythic drum shotgun, so be on the lookout for our guide shortly.
Map changes
The new map offers three steamy jungle points of interest, flowers with gameplay effects, a very angry type of insect, and grind vines. Find out more on the Chapter 4 Season 3 map here.
New Augments
There are seven new Reality Augments coming to Fortnite this season, alongside several more returning. One of the new ones even gives you thermal vision no matter your weapon. We’re preparing a guide to all new Augments now, so stay tuned.
NPC locations
Beginning last season, Fortnite started to help aid players tracking down NPCs, but there’s still a bit of legwork involved in this, so we’re doing the hard part for you now. Come back soon for our Chapter 4 Season 3 NPC locations guide.
How to hatch raptor eggs
Raptors are roaming the island once again–though you can finally tame them, thankfully. But sometimes you’ll come across their eggs and won’t even need to tame them. We’ll soon have a guide on hatching raptor eggs ready for you.

PvE boss battle
Epic prefers not to outright reveal an in-game boss, instead allowing players to stumble upon a showdown for themselves. We’re scouring the island now and will report back if there’s a boss to thwart on launch day.
Kinetic boomerang explained
One of the new weapons this season is the Kinetic Boomerang, which acts sort of like Kratos’ axe or Thor’s hammer. If you want to not only find one but get good with it, stay tuned, as we have our Fortnite weapons expert building a guide on it.
Job boards explained
Fortnite is adding new job boards, an expansion of the bounty boards which bring them more in line with something you’d see in Warzone. New mission types rewarding gold can be undertaken, so stay tuned for a full guide on these new occupational hazards.
Launch day challenges
As always, day one of a new Fortnite season is overflowing with easy XP to amass, so be sure to check back once servers are up when we’ll have a breakdown of all the quests you can complete all in your first session of the new season.
